Micro-Controller and BASIC Stamp
What is a Micro Controller?
A micro controller is a chip the reads inputs from sensors and buttons, processes information and outputs a signal to turn on or off a motor, LED or more. All micro controllers have on board RAM,storage and a clock speed. For the Boe-bot, we used the BS2.
BS2 (BASIC Stamp 2)
The BASIC Stamp 2 used as the brain of the Boe-Bot. It is able to control and monitor timers, keypads, motors, sensors, switches, relays, lights, and more. Programming is very easy because the language called PBASIC and it is very easy to learn.
