System Project - RC Car with Robotic Arm
Four-wheel drive RC Car with mounted arm, designed to travel through rough terrain with exceling speed. This projects uses an Arduino, as its microcontroller to control the inputs and outputs of the project. The projects includes use of a distance sensor for the robotic mounted arm to able to move and lift objects, aside or to be thrown. It will also use an H-bridge component to control the Four-wheel drive chassis to move forward or reverse thus enabling a full wide of motion. Uses two DC motors as the main acceleration unit for the chassis and two more DC motors to use to for turning purposes. Also, incorporates mini-LEGO gun to be launched in front of the robot. The projects will be controlled through an IR Remote App on a smartphone so any phone that can send IR signals can be used for this project. The mounted robotic arm is operated through 3, 180-degree servos to have a wide range of motion in front of the robot. The system will have a main power supply of 5V for the Arduino and to power the motors and servos. LEDs will also be installed for a decorate-purposes, which will require 2.5V power supply. The overall project will be also light but will be have a unique and well-designed chassis and a cool robotic arm mounted on the top of the chassis with amazing strength (torque).
