Robotics
What is Robotics?
Robotics is a type of technology that works with the designing, constructing, and operating of robots and the principles for robotics are mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, and some computer science (Artificial Intelligence).
Uses of Robotics:
In Japan, they use their robots in restaurants to make sushi and chop vegetables and in the police force, they use robots to check buildings for criminals that are armed and dangerous. These robots also pre-program to disarm bomb traps in suspect cars or vehicles.
Next Steps for Robotics
For the future, the world will try to use robots to assist surgeries or sending robots into space equipped with camera and sensors to explorer the galaxy. They can even create human-like robot.
Involvement of Robotics: Home-Made Robot Development
As years go by technology improves as and it does more and more robots will be developed by the next generations. Robotic companies sell robot kits to schools and for young teens to have a strong understanding of robotic development.

FIRST Robotics Canada (Ages 14 to 18)
This is the most competitive robotics competition offered by FIRST. High-school students team up with their sponsors and mentors to build the most impressive robots. They build a robot that meets the requirement of the game that year within 6 weeks and the robot is around being 5 foot tall and 140 pounds.
